Vastu tips for Children Room

Creating a vibrant and nurturing environment in a child's room is essential for their overall development. Vaastu principles offer guidance on the placement of various elements within the room to foster positivity and growth. Here are some key tips to follow:

  • The West direction is considered ideal for children's rooms.
  • Place the bed in the South-west portion of the room, with the child's head facing South or East for peace of mind.
  • Avoid positioning the door directly facing the bed.
  • Furniture should be placed in the South-west direction, avoiding obstruction in the center of the room.
  • Maintain a distance of 3" between all furnishings and the walls.
  • Cabinets and closets should be placed in the South or West direction.
  • Minimize electronic devices like TV and computers/laptops in the room, but if necessary, place computers in the North and televisions in the South-east.
  • Avoid exposed mirrors and refrain from placing any mirrors in front of the bed.
  • The study table should face East, North, or North-east.
  • Keep the study area clutter-free to enhance concentration and encourage creativity.
  • Illuminate the room with good lighting in the South-east direction, avoiding sharp lamps on the study table to prevent strain.
  • Use calming hues like green or blue to create a refreshing atmosphere.
  • Doors in the children's room are best placed in the East or North.
